Nothing brings in summertime like 4th of July! With backyard barbeques, long weekend camping trips, lounging on the beach, what isn’t there to look forward to?
At ISOJI, we have found that prioritizing “Made in the U.S.A.”, we can help our customers make a positive contribution to the country we call home. We understand overseas production can be less expensive and offers many other opportunities in countries who do not have the resources. It can often be the “profitable” route to go. However, we have given it a lot of thought, and here’s why responsible sourcing from local communities helps our customers the most:
The first and most important reason for us is – Sustainability. We strive to improve our process and our supply chain to be as eco-friendly as possible. From the USA made cotton which moves to the solar powered sewing floors, we work with manufacturers who create almost no landfill. Everything which isn’t turned into a tee is either recycled or repurposed. But, the products themselves aren’t enough. We package our products with environmentally friendly material and even ship them in reusable custom branded envelopes which are 100% post-consumer recycled material for 100% biodegradability. How cool is that?
Jobs & the Economy
Each and every one of us are important. By sourcing American made products, we are making a direct impact on growing our economy! According to ABC World, if every American spent an extra $3.33 on U.S. made products per year, it would generate nearly 10,000 new jobs in the nation. That’s what we are aiming for.
Ethical Working Conditions
Unfortunately, top importing countries have minimal standards for working conditions. By prioritizing U.S. manufacturing and sourcing from companies which are W.R.A.P certified, we can all be rest-assured that our products are made in a no-sweatshop, humane, and sustainable way since day one. Doing things right is the only way to do things around here.
So, while you’re out there bossin’ it on the grill or catching sick waves on the beach, take a second to give our good ol’ Stars & Stripes a big hug and an even bigger thank you. Without you, the founding fathers, the soldiers who fight, and other Americans alike, we would not have the freedoms we have today.
Happy 4th Everyone!
